Nice, could also use pop rivets with washers.

Hmm. I've never noticed such a thing. Incidentally, most of my use of them has been in Dallas, which is a considerably drier climate. Lots of fill and empty though, trying to keep up with the CCM guys. What use I have had here in the sauna of Houston has been fine as well.

This is the most important part.

The first pic has the loader pushed all the way down in the feedneck of my Enmey. There are going to be jamming issues due to the way that ball on the left is sitting.

In this second pic I raised the loader about a 1/8" in the feedneck and you can see the difference. The top ball in the stack is about 50/50 and the next balls are freely moving ready to load.

FIrst step. Throw away app loader
Second step. Install winchester
Third step. Win

I hated the app. Sucky reload angle. Feeds crappy. Looks stupid

Winchester reloads good. Lid choices. Feeds amazing durable if you don't take one to the nose but I just kept popping the dent out and it lasted years

Yeah but the APP is $5 compared to $45 for a Winchester IF you can find one. Might as well mod away.

Winchesters are ****. they worth that much for real? I should sell some. APPs are solid once configured properly, and a nose hit isn't going to run your game, unlike the winchester which is only slightly less catastrophic than a brass eagle pocket hopper

I agree with this 100%. I rather use the sportshot than the APP

So your winny gets shot. Empty it. While it out or rinse it in a sink. Back to game on.

I bought mine a couple years ago for like $5 a piece. Always had a back up but never used it. Think I gave them away. Free lids were easy to find on old pods

Now we're talking. I thought the sportshot was going to be too large for my tastes but I rarely get hit on the hopper and I don't have to carry any extra ammo. 100 balls lasts me for the longest of games and it feeds just fine. The shaking while running and snapping is plenty of agitation, I rarely have to shake before a shot.
