Useful $4 Picatinny flashlight mounts from Amazon - lots uses!
So during my magazine-fed Firestorm Ion build I picked up a couple cheap aluminum/steel flashlight mounts from Amazon. I didn't end up using these for the build, but I did find that these little doohickeys have dozens of possible paintball uses.

For such a low price, I figure people can have some fun with them!
So my initial thought was that you could mount a magazine with them.
But I found you could also just use the "male" half of them to add a short picatinny rail to almost any paintball gun barrel.
This could be used to attach a foregrip
...or even a small sight.
...which can be canted off to the side for powerfeed/centerfeed guns.
On guns that already have picatinny rails, the female half can be used independently and is basically a small, robust 1" scope ring, which could be used, as intended, to mount flashlights...
...or even a small tank for crazy gas solutions.
Two rings can be used for more positive stability.
Note that the plumbing could be an issue unless you get creative here.
It might be more practical to order a different model of flashlight mount in order to have a side-facing gas port. If I'm not mistaken, 4G010H3R0 already tried something like that.

Best of all, they're cheap!
So go nuts!

Big guy in a wig
you will need the stabilizing (rubber ) bands to make it work for the older 1080 XD R7 cameras.
