| The Jet Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Kingsport,TN | When we went to the Dye tech class there response to that question was that, The reg threads are the only thing that hasn't been changed in years and it was the only thing holding them back from making smaller lighter markers. All Dye guns from now on will use that thread.

| Pump Gun Dealer | Could it be that reg threads haven't changed in years because having a standard threading for them allows interchangability ? I guess DYE figured that since the paintball industry has so few standards already they might as well do away with the ones that do exist. Next they'll make new ASA's that only work with their air tank regulators. |
