Back to pump

I own an electro marker, and a phantom pump. While saving to buy the timmy, I played with my phantom. It got boring, and that's why I was getting the timmy. While I was waiting, I spent a lot of time on pbnation, and other forums. I used to go to mcb on a different name(always looking, rarely posting), and I frequented scp and the phog. I played with my timmy for a couple days, usually shooting lots of paint and spending lots of money on air. Then my hopper broke, so I was unable to use it.

I used my pump for the rest of the day, and realized. Playing semi was usual, you always went to your bunker, shooting as fast as you can, and shot a lot until the game was over. It provided a thrill, but not as much as pump. Not to sound cliche, but it felt so much better to be back with my phantom. The reason I got bored with it before was because of the regularness, just using the same gun again and again. Now, I'm switching it up, using a winchester hopper, and a 3.5 ounce tank. I might get another marker, but that's another matter. Every once in a while, I'll use my electro. But until I fix my hopper (might purposely take a while :D ;) ;) ), pump it will be.

I just have to say, it's good to be here again. :)

PS: How are PGPs? I might invest in one.

I agree as well PGPs are a bit to small. Nice sometimes, but before I sold mine it sat on a wall mainly. Pumps are a thrill like no other. I shot a child out who was using a Timmy over at Jungle Games a couple of months back, never seen a "pro" as he said so angry in a long time. But now that you are in our world, there are many different types of pumps to find and choose from. I hate tippmann now with a passion, but I love their SL-68. If you're ever looking for another pump let me know, or post on the WTB thread. I'm sure these whores will have something for sale :) Good luck

I shunned PGP's for years and then this year something just clicked. I was playing a game that was pump vs semi and I shot out a bunch of kids with a Nelspot 007. That's when I realized the advantage of a small little pistol. I started working on the PGP and upgraded it some and now I love it. Just like playing pump itself, you can turn what a lot of people call a disadvantage (small, 12grams, 10 round tube) into an advantage.

I'm surprised your not shooting a Carter being from the islands.

Cunha 08-22-2006 03:04 AM

Id wager that buying a carter in the islands of hawaii costs as much more than a phantom than it does in the conUS :P

I like PGP's a ton, Im just not too good at worrying about 10 balls.

I might try a carter, but money is an issue, so yeah. Do you think people would go for a phantom plus cash for a carter? It'd be fun to try.
