Idea: Winchester 50rd Replication?

Just a thought...
Has anyone tried creating a replica of the Winchester 50rd pocket hopper?
I know APP has their 50rd loader, but it doesn't feed as well as the Winchester. Since the Old Winchesters fetch $50 when they pop up, why not just replicate them. Certainly Winchester doesn't own a patent on them do they?
Just kicking around a thought....

Whats your thoughts....????

I believe someone was 3D printing them or had a file to do so. Can't seem to find it in a search on here, but here's a YouTube link:

Didn't realize these things fetched that sort of price. Time to get the few I have out of the misc parts box.

Actually prefer my APP over the Winchesters I've owned. They sit lower and feed perfectly. The only issu I have with them, they hold less than 50 rounds.

I like the older APP much better than Winchester and the new APP.

How many rounds do they hold?
I've only heard ramblings of the reliability being less on the APP than it was on the Winchesters. Looks like I should pick one up and see for myself.

APP 60 fixes all the issues the non-modified APP 50 had. It also comes lid moded from the factory. It's a much better hopper then the Winchester at a fraction of the price. Winchester just looks cooler.

I run one of the AbeShip 50 hoppers on my T2. It works very well, and is tough. It has been shot a few times, without any signs of failing.
