Idea for Mel and Rod of CCM

for those of you that don't remember I am building a pump/semi cocker to either raffle or sell outright (depending on Mell and Rods wishes) to benifit a couple of great assets to paintball when they are in a time of need. This will be at Mell and Rod of CCM discretion as to what is done with this awsome gun. After everything is totaly complete I will be sending the gun to Mell and Rod so there will be no mistaking it is for them. keep an eye posted in the coming weeks/months.
After many months of hard work on the Part of O'dells paintball the gun is complete with a freak insert kit on the way. here are some other pics, glamor shots if you will....... what do you guys think?

the body and frame is what I had at the start of the project. I might send it out for re-anno sence the last job was so thin it is silver in some spots.

My first cocker project (converting an Autococker to a sniper) with a CCM pump kit and 86* frame came in the wrong color so I e-mailed Mel at CCM. she called me back instead of e-mailing to make the transaction smoother. About 45min later after talking to Mel I had a few questions about how to mill something myself. She transferred me to Rod (her husband and CCM head go to dude) to answer my question. Rod talked with me for almost 1.5 Hrs about milling and how the sport was progressing in various ways only to find out the two that I had been talking to had a very long road of surgeries and no insurance to cover it. I found myself in a brief windfall and decided to help someone who could truly use it. What better way to repay someone for the hard work and helpful friendly advice than to do something that we both love. Build a gun and here is that gun

the gun is back again from re-annoing and it is back together. I am having issues with blowback in the feedneck that will not go away. I am looking to have a custom o-ringed bolt made up to solve this before it goes out to Rod and Mel.

Well, I'm tuned in, because I have that body and the same problem. And because I appreciate what you are doing.
