This is what I use and several others Tyger, Jincay, EqualsP to name a few.

HelmetCam

I run the 480 extreme to a old Panasonic DVC camcorder with A/V inputs. Its relatively big and bulky, I would like to get a newer Sony but I gotta make do with what I have. I tie wrap the camera to my mask. Its a straight forward set up. If your camcorder has LANC connection that would be even better since it would allow remote start and stop of recording without having to pull the camcorder out.

Tracy we have to get together

And find me a video cam. My little DVR is ok,but no LANC. Now that everything is slowing down,I might be able to play this weekend(Laborday).Unless I move into my new home that weekend. Drop me an email this week. I guess I'll have to hit the pawn shops since none of the new cams have AV or lanc.
Later,

Not bad, looked like a fun field.
Video may be a bit big for the resolution though....although that could just be how google streamed it.

*sigh* I WISH I knew which box my helmet cam ended up in when we moved!

Yeah, I'd check the helmet camera sites for a list of camcorders with AV inputs and LANC connections. I found out that the pricier camcorders have LANC that work in VCR mode
