Looking for a fun gun

something around $50 or so, will pay more if its worth it and grabs my attention, something that is just fun to play with and works all the time, something different would be nice, something im not worried about building to go play with, i pull it out and go play, some will probably say a mag but i want a marker that is center feed and in order to get a center fed mag you have to spend a little cash, oh the options to choose from

Iv been eye balling a tippmann 68 carbine in the bst, are these good markers, are parts hard to find for them what barrel thread do they use

And of course i have to eyeball the mags, might bite the bullet and just pick up a right feed one

I like them. A5 threads, I'm pretty sure. A friend had one with a JJ Ceramic and it was deadly.

I'd get a Pro-Carbine. Tough, reliable. You can still find parts online, and they're A5 threaded. My two would run of CO2, or my Ninja SHP 68ci tank that I ran my RT mags on. All I did was install a lighter trigger spring, a 100rd sportshot hopper, and a Lapco Assault barrel. Worked great!

Im reading that the 68 carbine can have a few quirks and that some parts are impossible to find like power tubes, i also hear that the feednecks are prone to breaking

Not really. You can find pretty much whatever you need here.

Honestly any of the Tippmans after the 68 Special through the A5 are good cheap markers that are fun to tinker with. For me because there were a crap load made and huge 3rd party support i would go with the 98 but any of them are doable.

If you want fun to mess with but are a little hard to find parts for I love the PMI III/VM 68. These markers actually have "recoil" and make a wonderful chugging noise when rapid firing.

What about a used azodin kaos? They're a great value for the money.

Find an ICD BKO or B2k for $50-75 and go mow faces. They're fantastic shooters.
