interest in boring powdercoat jobs?

I have many spare bodys and shells from everyday markers just laying around that I have been using to test some new powder on. so I was wondering would people be interested in a refresh on their beat up and faded markers for little more then the cost of powder?

iv coated 98c, carbines, a 68 special and a few other $50 or so markers. it's not the motorcycle, car, or atv parts I normally do but it's a time killer

I guess the question is rather the interest is there.

powders run 10 to 20 bucks a pound so material cost to coat a carbine body would be about $2. lava, water, chrome and any other 2 stage types would run about $5.

This is not a sale thread, merely gauging interest to see if this is something people may want to do.

generally if it's metal and can survive 400 degrees in my oven then yes. I can also coat ceramics and other materials that can handle the heat though these are difficult to make smooth as I have to heat them to around 200 and spray a cloud of powder on to the item. it's a one shot deal, iv only done it on terracotta and other yard type ceramics.

also, standard coats do not cover any issues in the metal, they will show. textures and flakes can be used to hide this.

I can also use glow powder to make things glow. neat

If my Tippmann 98 projects were closer to completion I'd be all over this.

I have an original axe that looks rough I wouldn't mind spending a bit to look pretty again

I have a couple - a maverick and 2 autocockers (one is bigtime ugly).

You are just looking to practice? Or just enjoy powdercoating stuff? Either way this is a very thoughtful offer
