Easy Chrome.

This showed up on my FB feed (Audococker Enthusiasts) this morn. Looks to be a good way to chrome or re-chrome paintball parts or whole markers. Has anyone tried this? Is it too good to be true?

Put some on a customers grill at work not long ago. They were curious about how it really held up and he’s a regular so I’ll be able to report in later. I hear good things though and I imagine that if it holds up to rock chips and bugs it’ll be fine on a Paintball gun.

this has to be too good to be true. I've got an old beat up (working) PGP that would look great with a chrome finish.

I've been watching Alsa Corp and their chrome paints for years - always turned off by picky processes with only so-so results... but this has my head spinning. Watching the guy use a house brush on that gas tank. That's incredible.

And you can buff it, no topcoat required?? I'd still like to see a durability test... but they showed a customer's painted rims, no topcoat, can't be much worse than regular paint - right?

Jeez!

I was going to grab some to put on a 98C and A5, but the $200 pricetag for the 20ft coverage has me hesitant. It will be way more than I need but not cheap for a quick side project.

Yeah, ALSA paint has always been super expensive - not messing around stuff... But at least this looks more user friendly. Some of their older chrome paint required a whole proprietary spray system in addition to the liquid money it drank :P
