I come from over a dozen years playin experience...and I remember when Uni-regs, Blace Ice regs, Violators and Vigilantes were so run of the mill it made ya sick. But they worked solidly, and did the job they needed. Anywho, my question involves newer Vigilante regs I found for under $40. Dunno if theyre new old stock or whatever...but they certainly have an upgraded feel to them. Saw them on airsoldierpower or whatever...any input from ya'll on them? Same as the old?

If your talking about this one, http://www.airsoldier.com:8080/cgi-b...ode=REGULATORS They are new style, not even like the original Vigilante'. IIRC, they are similar to a Bob Long Torpedo. For a good reg without a ton of cash, buy a CP reg. And if you really want a good reg cheap, go to ANS gear and look at the Evil Detonator, last I seen they were $15 each. I bought two just because they were cheap. Haven't heard anything bad about them either. Stay away from any of the older AA regs, Reg seats are getting scarce, and near impossible to find. What are you going to put them on?

There is a performance difference, but a mag seat can be used if you use the mag reg pin also. No mixing of the 2. On Tank regs, you CANNOT use a mag seat, it is way too soft, will deform and fail. If you use a mag seat and pin in an AA secondary reg, you will not be getting 100% performance from it. Shane-O
