I had an old "Paintball Sports" Mag where they went into this event with detail, I'll see if I can find it.

I have a line on a semi-professionally produced video of a big game in 1988 at a field in Lake Elsinore, CA it is an 1 hour long and is a blast to watch. The owner of the footage is on the fence about what he wants to do with it. But I have to say it is the best example of old school paintball video I have ever seen.

i like how this is clearly the first time both teams have ever played on that field, with that format of game play.

as much as i enjoy the predictability of speedball, the chess game of it, and the way its ballences each side with moves and counter moves, sometimes it just fun to try somthing new on for size.

i wish they did this kinda thing these days, just decided on some weird feild arrangments, and tossed a couple of pro teams in the ring to see what would happen.

Man... imagine that sort of thing going down at Busch Gardens or similar, maybe have 4 or 5 teams "in the ring" so to speak... I'd pay a mint and a half to see that.
