Doing a happy dance

Well I just got back home from Nova Scoita yesterday. My kp-3 laying in part form on my floor I took it apart a while ago to find out why it was so hard to pump.

In order to start cleaning my apartment, I put the kp-3 back together first. Other then putting one peice in backwards the first time it wasn't to bad.

Now the pump is a smooth as could be, I have a feeling that a peice of metal that I took out, was causing the metal on metal grinding in the pump. With that removed, the bolt polished up. Also a small peice of brass on the inside of the barrel that was causing a little brass on bolt griding also sanded down. Oiled up, it pumps as if it was good as new.
