Question Another "What is Stock Class" Question...

most everyone here has the idea of what exactly is "stock Class"...

Basic Rules include ->

rock-n-cock, w/ no Direct Feed
12grams
15rd max

blah blah yada yada...I think more then one group (including the pbmarshas) has defined what is "stock class" over and over and more then one group has modified those rules over and over to fit current models and needs... That is except for one question.

The question I put forward to all is: Would it still be considered "Stock Class" if I manage to get an e-blade (or similar e-trigger) working properly on a pgp2k1?

Of course it would. As long as the gun fits the same parameters as a "stock class gun".

We can all play games on what the "proper" definition of stock class is but I think you already know the answer.

I would say yes, but what is the point? why would you want to put batteries in a gun, when that won't really speed it up. You are adding an unneccessary consumable.

No... not the same thing. Very different. You are adding a battery to a PUMP. Not increasing it's shots per fill or its ROF or ANYTHING. You ARE adding an unnecessary consumable.

I'd say it is. Not the most useful of stock class upgades but seems it would be legal.

No, that is not what he said. He may agree it is, or he may disagree, but he didn’t say either way.

As for my thoughts…. Sure, it would still be stock class. But as others said, why bother?

Apparently Mike31c has an extra E-frame lying around that he wants to put on his gun. Would it be more efficient to just buy another frame or to put the E-frame he has on there? If you can afford the frame, then why NOT put it on?
