I have been monitoring rlong from the sidelines for YEARS. Y-E-A-R-S. I have seen him scam DOZENS of PBN members. He has lied to staff members repeatedly about his business and his business practices. He has lied to hundreds of people on many occasions through these forums. He has lied about shipping. He has lied about work performed. He has kept parts without permission. He has lied about the location of his business. He started a fraudulent promo thread for himself with a dupe account. He has lied about his patents. I had him banned for scamming on a previous username as well, which I bet none of you knew about (Wannaplaypaintball was the account name, it was registered with rlong's IP address AND email address and he made posts about his delrin triggers with it - very vir-tue-esque).

All of these lies have been publicly exposed by a number of staff members and regular users over the past several years. Each time he has threatened legal action, both against the posters and against PBN, and never followed through because he knows a judge will laugh him out of court. It has been out of hand for a long time. If the staff has made a mistake, the mistake was waiting this LONG to ban him. We should have banned him the very first time he scammed another PBN member, and he's been doing it since long before the Vir-tue days. We realize that many of you have gotten good work from him, but I don't think anyone would disagree that many have not.

PBNation has shown over and over that we do NOT tolerate people scamming our members. We look out for our own, and he has not proven himself worthy of our trust, our respect, our business, or our support. So please, stop making threads suggesting that Josh is behind this, or that it was done for reasons of competition. Josh isn't behind this, and it wasn't for competition (Josh only ever did 1-2 conversions a MONTH, and has probably decided to completely stop doing them). If you're upset about it, we respect your right to free thought, but please post any future threads about it in the TTMA forum where the appropriate people can comment. Honestly though, I don't see why this would be necessary. rlong is a dishonest scammer guilty of fraud on the forums and in the real world. His ban is well-deserved.

I remember many talks with users and Josh about this guy. 100% scammer. Lord knows how many people he actually screwed over.

Actually he's not 100% scammer, some people actually get their stuff. Which makes it way more dangerous than someone who actually was a 100% scammer.

Ok, so 90%. I remember all his posts about his alleged "workshop" which ended up being his basement with a po box. I am surprised he is still doing business at all. I still can't recall if he relocated more than 3 times in the 2 years I paid attention to this.
