Especially if they figure up the cost of paint to elimination ratio.

I definately want to hear how this turns out!
I've found that for the most part, the has-some-experience type players like you described, are usually fascinated by pumps once they actually get their hands on one and get to give it a try.

This particular quote fits the topic of conversation rather well.

"never said I don't know how to shoot a pistol, I just don't have the need for one"

Errrr... even though you got the quote all wrong... I recognize it.

Here you go:

"I said I never had much use for one. Never said I didn't know how to use it." (refering to the pistol)
--Matthew Quigley, Quigley Down Under

GREAT movie.

Well, you called it a quote... and put it in quotation marks, I think that counts.

Still a great movie... adding to my Netflix queue for a re-viewing.

I love the gross under-estimation of pump players!
The only problem, is after about 3 games with "normal" players, they realize that the pumpers are not a joke, and start gunnin' for ya...

I will be playing stock class as well as my bro, this weekend. Everyone else has thier Tippy's and spyders, and think "Oh, you have a pump... good luck..."

My friends used to always give me this WTF kind of look when I'd pull out my "anti-phantom". After playing with it on numerous occaisions and gaining great skill with it, it's kind of become normal and it's not looked upon as inferior.

So instead of asking me "Why the hell are you gonna use that thing?", I usually hear "So which gun are you gonna use today?"

It's pretty cool.
