I got my two LB and two nelspots today.

At first glance the LBs with some elbow greese will turn into very nice guns.

the Nelspots though don't look as bad will need more help. one has a cracked frame and the other needs just about every bolt replaced. I will try to make one good one out of the two and keep one for parts.

thanks for the timely shipping and giving me a few projects for the next few weeks.

I may be interested in a SB once you post them, if you don't have any plain ol' Nelspot pistols with the brown pump handle, stock barrel, and no rear ASA.

the LBs that I got cleaned up pretty nice..... one leaks but new o-rings will fix that. a little more brass-o and I will be set on LBs for a while

One of two nelspots that I got from MadLarkin’s sale. This one is the product of the two. The other doesn’t hold air.

Probly a lost cause Nelspot that has all sorts of cracks and bent power tubes and the likes……….

Over all it was a very good buy. I plan on buying more LBs once I get more money... and maybe if you have something else hiding in the stack some other stuff......

Oh and he is a great guy to work with. once he saw that one of my Nelspots was a dud he offered to send me a new one.... I wouldnt hesitate to work with him again great guy. thanks.

Got my Nellie today (pictures forthcoming). So far it looks dirty and the hardware is rusted but otherwise structural sound, and the frame appears uncracked. The bore is amusingly dirty (it's pink and white inside lol), but does not appear to be rusty. There is quite a bit of black electrical tape around the ASA which I'm a little concerned about, hopefully it's just there due to a missing screw and nothing major. More after I bust out the camera..

And now the camera has been unleashed. I stripped off the electrical tape, and it appeared to have no purpose other than covering up a screw...so structural integrity of this marker appears A-OK. Now if I can find a place to get it beadblasted....

For anyone interested:
The first batch of 12 SB's has been posted on the site, and the first batch of the removable barrel mystery guns should be up tomorrow.

Just ordered #2 of the mystery ones.

Suggestion: You might wanna put some of the information and pictures and especially a link to the store in the first post in this thread. It's pretty annoying digging through 11 pages a couple of times to find the link to the store.

P4p3Rc1iP: Check the following for a previous discussion on the mystery ones. No one nailed it down for sure, but there's some good guesses and better pictures there:
Riddle me this, oddball nelson conversion

Got mine!

Looks good. Bore is fine, steel is rusted, springs AREN'T rusted, all the seals looked good. The power tube was rigid. Took a lot of PB-Blaster, and a bigger hammer to get it to move. I can't really complain though. Looks good. I'm going to try airing it up shortly.
