#'s 6,3,4 all have shorter pump handles? Is there a reason for this (if so what)? Sorry, kinda new to the whole old school marker thing. And I Apologize for a stupid (if it was) question..

^ the knurled metal pump handles came in 2 sections that screwed together before sliding along the bottom tube. Often, people removed the front section as a matter of personal preference. The sections were nearly identical, although the rear had a U-shaped notch in the bottom to allow for the pump handle to slide past the front of the trigger frame when the bolt was in a fully open position.

You'll notice threaded holes on the front of the short handles, which is where the other piece attaches.

You should also be able to put any other Sheridan pump handle on if you have a preference, the old knurled PGP handles or the short or long plastic ones.
