material suggestions

I have a DF kp3 and am looking to make a short stick feed for it.
I have the elbow, it is a clear APP unbreakable. I also have a phantm feed cap assembly. What I am looking for is a suggestion on what to use to make the body of the stick. Type of material and what diameter. I basically want to have just enough to securely put in my ten round tube and feed the marker that way.

any help is much appreciated.

I dont kno about the APP elbow but assuming the DF nipple is a 7/8" you could make your feed from some 3/4" copper ppiping and a 90* elbow.
