'Cocker: Sniper, Mech or E1?

I posted this over on Custom 'Cockers, but figured MCB was a larger community, so I could get more input.

So anyway, I'm quite excited to say, I'm getting a new, raw Ripper body. ()

Anyway, for the life of me, I can't figure out if I want a Sniper, a mech or an electro. Obviously, it being a 'cocker and all, all of them at once is an option, but I'd like to focus on one more than the other. So far, I'm leaning towards a mech.

Here are my reasons for considering each:

Sniper
- WAY easier on my wallet, what with paint going up price-wise an all.
- More of a skill-builder. It makes you think about your surroundings and make each shot count.
- Being different. Last time I played with my pump Rainmaker, me and this other kid were the only ones playing pump at the entire field. It felt good.
- C'mon. It's pump play.

Mech
- Good balance of firepower and paint savings.
- My first "high-end" (back when it was a high-end) was a red 2k4 Vert 'cocker. I loved the way it felt, especially after upgrading from my Tippy 98c. I nabbed it when I thought $200 was gonna be the lowest it was gonna get. Ah, the memories.
- Customization. In my opinion, a mech is the most customizable 'cocker. EVERY aspect of the marker can be changed and modified, even parts of the frame.
- Tinkerability. Like with old cars, I just love screwing around with things, so I consider working on a 'cocker fun.

E1 (E1 specifically. I like the semi-only, and I don't need/want more than that.)
- Firepower is nice, and the E1 is the top of my firepower list.
- Nice, light trigger pull with magnetic return.
- Nice, affordable electro frame, and still gives me room to upgrade in the future, should I want to.
- Well, other than feel and firepower, that's all I can really think of...

Please don't base your opinion on the number of points I have written. Some weigh heavier to me than others, so they are all in the running.

So what would you guys do?

PS: If you suggest mech, which do you prefer, slider or hinge? I've never used a slider.

Get a sniper and throw an E1 on there with an mQ2 valve. Then you wont feel like you are short changing yourself with no electronics.

Cockerpunk: Eventually. But until then, I'd like to focus on just one of the three.

Eh. MQ Snipers are awesome and all that, but it's just something I don't think I'd do. In all honesty, it's almost with reluctance that I add the E1, but when I had an E1 Dark, I loved the way it felt. It's an option, but right now, it's at the bottom of the list.

Mech. Not super fast, so you build some skill, people will ask what it is instead of it being anothe relectr n the field, keeps it true to form, and I am SICK of everyone and their mother having a sniper.

I got my a** handed to me yesterday by a ref with a 2k4 or so cocker. He was a damn good shot. Mech cockers rule.

I prefer slider mostly because its hard to find hinge single triggers and I can't stand double triggers.

I say sniper or mech. Eblade means drilling for eye and the backblock is not ideal anyway.

Eh. I was thinking about it for a bit. But for some reason unknown to me, I decided against it.

Methinks I'll just build an ub3r m3ch. Sorry if this thread was kind of a waste of bandwidth. It really helps me think when I talk about my ideas, even if it is with anonymous, faceless entities on a forum.

Sounds cool!
My vote is personally for slider mech. If you end up giving it a simple, yet elegant anno that is complemented by a basic black, then a pump kit would still look good in the future too.

I love a nice slider mech. They're just nifty. Can't wait to see how everyone's ripper comes out! Good luck!
