| People shot buy paintballs in Indianapolis This makes me sick. There is an artical and video. The idiots made a video and put it up on Youtube also. I hope they catch these guys. Stuff like this gives the sport a bad name. WTHR - Indianapolis News and Weather - Paintball vandals target buildings, people edit: I realize I put "buy" instead of "by"... doh. |

| Another instance of people doing dumb, immature acts of numbnut-edness giving paintball a bad rap. Now, tons of people will read this and associate paintball with vandalism ONLY. I think MCB should be judge and jury in such cases. We'll let HurtCow hand out the sentencing.

| Endearingly quirky | Hmm...we'll start off by taking them to the top of a tall building, tie strings to their eyelids, and tie the other end to cinder blocks which we then toss over the side... I'll come up with more later.

| I agree that the kids are idiots, but saying that people can be harmed by "the chemical reaction to the inside of the paintball"? That's just plain BS. Paintballs are edible for godsake! I've gotten paint in my eyes and mouth before, and on my skin, and trust me the cornstarch-y fish oil crap in there is no super-potent acid. |

| meh the media should stop sensationalizing this... it's no different that if it was committed with an airsoft gun or a hockey stick, it's still the misuse of sporting equipment and therefore assault with a deadly weapon.

| My point exactly. Anything is a "deadly weapon" by the courts definition. The most commonly used "deadly weapons" are the "shod foot" (foot with a shoe on it) and a variety of random blunt objects often associated with sports (golf club, bat, hockey stick, tire iron, kitchen utensil, plates and glasses). |
