I'd never heard of the 'furry' thing until Ruckus Fox explained it to me. It's a whole world of people that like to dress up as furry animals.

Ew.

Don't confuse Yiffies with Furries in general; it's a subset of the group and an odd one at that. IMHO you can be into the more, uh, intimate side of furry fandom and still be a "normal" person, but true Yifs I just don't get.

Thank you A.C.

Personally, I'm not to worried about the different subcultures of furs, I'm worried about the more extreme haters of it in the other hobbies I enjoy. Warhammer is by far has the largest anti-furry mass I have ever encountered. Thankfully thier numbers are still small compared to those who defend us for doing pretty much the same thing they do, just in a less understood format.

Heck, I have even gone so far as to start a furry Warhammer story, its more along the lines of furs attempting to show their worth to the Imperium of Mankind through acts of heroism in the Imperial Guard. If anyone wants to give it a read over I could link.

Link me~

I was forcefed through the strainer of Warhammer-ism when I was in school (peer pressure, anyone?) and though I was to poor (and dissinterested) to play, I actually enjoy the fiction.

Kill the Alien, Purge the Heretic, Burn the Mutant.

No but seriously, I don't really have anything against any "roleplaying" at all. I love Warhammer for example, but feel nothing for furry. Though they have, in a certain way, a thing or two in common with eachother, I like Warhammer not for the freaky aliens, but for the epic universe, something furry doesn't have as far as I'm aware.

Furry is just replacing humans with animals, and nothing more. This just doesn't appeal to me at all.

I would not mind dressing up as an imperial guardsman pretending to kill a bunch of panzee (The local agglets). Dressing up as a dog, with a gun, shooting...? I don't know, it's something totally different...

Warhammer players have no right at all to rag on other weird subcultures.
(Saying this as an avid Warhammer player myself)

The only furries I have ever seen were on CSI, but I have a pretty hairy pelt naturally.

Imperial battle by ~foughtwolf on deviantART

You link good sir.

As a side note for that: If you arent used to Warhammer novels, the universe, or the effects of Chaos on people, you might not want to read this.

After this I'm getting a new profile, I dont know who or how, but now my avatar is a pokemon? It wont let me change it. Me thinks Profile has been messed with.
