Today was my first time ...

... playing pump !

Yes you read that right ! The b/f and I got a chippley for me so I can become more accurate at speed ball. Believe it or not, a lot of the "agglett" population at my field play pump. It was a 1 on 1, and I barely lost (it just nicked the googles.) So at that time I figured I should just call myself out because I was really fatigued. I practiced all morning so my body was already weak. My arm did get tired though. Was fun, will do again.

Didn't like how the balls just slid out the barrel sometimes, but that's a cocker thing I guess (idk).

Conrats! Great to see more females playing, and especially playing pump. Sounds like you had a good time. Remember that you will suck when you start out, but don't worry, you'll get better.

As for the rollouts, all you need is a wedgited barrel or a barrel kit.

Cockers are closed bolt meaning that the ball actually sits in the barrel before the gun is fired. Thus you need a way to keep a good paint to bore match otherwise you will experience roll outs.

Congrats on the first day of pump play! It takes a little while to get used to it, but once you do....

electrical tape works great for rollouts. just fold a small piece over the end.
