PBnation Vs. MCB scenario game idea

So, after browsing the forums for the last 3 days almost non stop, I've noticed a common trend: General animosity towards the agglets at PBnation (I've seen it called Please Burn Nation and so on). This gave me the BEST IDEA IN THE HISTORY OF IDEA-HAVING ^_^!!!

Let's challenge them TO A SCENARIO GAME! I think it would be awesome to have this battle and let us duke it out, no serious fighting or anything, just an us vs. them game, see what happens... what do y'all think?

Why make it no electros?

I am interested in any game I can get to it's just a matter of when were and how much.

In return it would be only fair that you played against them on a speedball field with their rules. I see what youre after, thats like telling Allen Iverson to play with his off hand only.

This may come as a shock to you, but a speedballer that has played paintball for equal time as a average woodsballer will be more skilled. No, I'm not saying shooting 700 rounds in a game is skill, but look at how they read the game, move, slide behind cover, use both hands, snapshoot, run&shoot and how they are not afraid to make things happen. Those are the things you dont need to worry about when woodsballing, unles you play against someone who knows their stuff.

Most people here on MCB have been playing for a long, long time and i have to tell you that experience is the best teacher, it's not the fastest but it is the best. Playing against someone whos been playing only for a few months is not going to be fair by no means, no matter how they will tell you theyre the next ollie lang.

Actually thats a great idea, to have battle between the forums. But make it so that each forum gets to pick their roster, don't just take noobs against old guys...and don't limit it only to scenario and no electros you sissy

Don't call me a sissy, I'd be more than happy to go up against them in a speedball game too... but I'd use my mechanical cocker... and they could set the rules. I actually like that idea. That's why I posted, for input! So anyone else with ideas chime in, I'll second the "we make rules for a game, they make rules for a game" idea... and you're right, let them bring the electros... I'll laugh when their batteries die

I love playing against electros with a pump. You're forced to be a better player because of your handicap. grande makes some good points above and I've had the experience with my team playing against tourney-types. We usually win.

Aggressive maneuvering isn't limited to speedball. I do it all the time when I play pump. Most people won't expect you to be that aggressive but you kinda have to be, lol!

This won't work.
The scenario section of PBN is usually not what people get annoyed with at PBN. This is the group you would attract to come to a scenario game.

Yeah, that's pretty much my only tactic for pump/pistol, at least in speedball. I can't hang back and one-shot, because then I'll lose my lane really fast, so I've gotta get up there and in your face to get anything accomplished.

Plus, it is so very satisfying to bunker the local semi-competitive (I've played with the Windsor Assault a few times) guys a few times, and gotten a few good bunkers on them.

Ok, I'll elaborate.
I have been a member of both sites for 2 years now.
MCB is a community.
PBN is a place for information and a place many use to flame others.
A good scenario game is not Side A vs. Side B. It needs an interesting theme, some good missions and a fun group (that you trust) to play with.

This is somewhat like trying to compare apples and oranges.
