What is this Sheridan gun??

OK, I purchased an "Old PMI pump gun" from a guy this week. I got it today. I thought it was a P-12. After looking at it and measuring it, I have determined that it is longer than a P-12. According to the Sheridan Guide at PGPOG, a P-12 has a 13in. barrel. This gun has a 16.75in. barrel! Any ideas? Is the Guide wrong about the length of a P-12. Here is the picture I got from the guy:

Any ideas? It is also in MUCH better shape than the picture looks. MINOR paint wear on the gun with the exception of the normal pump handle wear. He had a 6in. PGP barrel extension also, so the tip of the barrel has some wear and he filed some solder away from the bead site to make the extension fit.

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

It looks like a p-12 to me. Where did you measure from? The breech or the end of the tube?

My eyes hurt like a SOB, and I can barely make out what it is right now, so, Im probally not the best person to answer tot his thread. lol.

Ima say just a Piranha LB with a shorter pump, or something of the sort...

You sure its not a P-12?

Looks like my P-12, that's what I think it is... mine has the same length barrel and looks the same.

My minty P-12 on top:

I COULD possibly be a p68-AT with the AT removed AND shorter pump handle.

My P-12 and P68-AT look the same except for the AT part installed and the pump. I should get and upload a pic...

I measured from end to end. If length is suppose to be from breech to end then I measure wrong. Thanks for all the help.

Roger that, its a p12.. from the breach where the ball is dropped to the end.

Interesting how similar the p68 is..never noticed that.

Yeah... I looked at them pretty close. It appears they're the same gun(the tubes are same except for some extra holes in the AT for the back bottle ASA, both say .68 cal P-Series and they have fairly similar serial numbers)... only real differences are one has the AT with a longer pump handle and the back bottle setup and a slight difference in trigger guard shape.
