I used to wear a cup all the time, then we picked up the new empire pants for HB (thanks Simon) and all I can say is, these are one well made piece of paintball equipment. built in soft cup rocks!

I play pump, so of course us pumpers never get shot and when we do it's by other pumpers who can only shoot people in the goggles

actually closest I've gotten to a nutshot was at SPE when two bounced off my SCP Pants a scant couple inches away from my babalongs. I called out, the guy came up to me after and said "you know, both of those bounced right?" to which I replied "you had me dead to rights, you put two into me to prove I was in a bad situation, and I didn't want to give your third shot a chance to get lucky, if you know what I mean" I learned quick to stay under better cover

I wear a baseball cup (at least, I found it in the baseball section). It's a cup that has soft rubber bits on the sides that make it so damn comfy. And because it's a skinnier design it you don't even notice it when you're running.

I got shot once down there playing. I walked like John Wayne for a while, but I didn't miss a game.

If I'm not wearing a kilt, I wear boxer briefs, mesh shorts, and JT pants.

I wear loose-fitting cammies and have taken several groin shots. None have ever hurt appreciably. About three weekends ago, I was play at Black Hawk Down and was pinned between two circling tanks. I rolled from cover to cover multiple times, and several shots bounced off different parts of my body. Eventually, the tanks managed to be on opposite sides of my position, catching me in a cross fire. The one shot that hit me and broke was in my groin. I didn't notice it until someone else pointed out I was eliminated.

I dont usually use padding when I play. Ive also never been shot in the junk while playing. Only while reffing. And then I use a washcloth thats been folded in 4's and stuffed down my skivvys. That and a towel thats draped over my belt and in the front. The worst is when Im reffing rookie/new player tournaments. Those kids really dont look where they are shooting alot of the time.
