May I borrow your Tippmann SMG parts?

I was wondering if anyone had a sear, trigger, and rear bolt they could loan me, out of a full auto SMG 60, to take measurements to convert my 68 Special to full auto. A whole gun would be nice, but I'm not asking that much. Thanks.

IIRC all you need is the sear, but i don't think anyone's been able to reliably feed a full auto special. Just makes paint soup. But I think I have a sear you can have if you want it. Lemme know and I'll drop it in the mail.

How's the special running?

no siphon installed in my tanks, the local shops wont even touch a tank other than to fill it or change the burst disk. I'm going to have to install it myself

JUst put a pin in the elonggated hole in the sear to hold it from comming off the trigger. IT will "cycle" in full auto at the same speed as an SMG. It WILL NOT fire paint however, reguardless of what is done. You'll find that the first 3 shots will in fact fire but once the hammer gets up to speed its just a blender. Oh also the sear is the same, its the trigger that differant, but still wont work.

Eh, your probably better off. I've found I've had better results doing it myself. The "airsmith" that did a couple of mine screwed up more than he did right. If you don't have a strap wrench to open it, try an oil filter wrench. Usually works well on 20oz's. And the tech pages on doc's site has some decent articles on the subject, if you need it.
