I'm sorry but that was no excuse for constantly lying to me for a year and stealing $650 from me. I don't know how many times I heard that my gun would be done by next week and after I demanded he either refund my money or just send me what he had done so far I never heard back from him. I emailed him many times but it was like he dropped off the face of the earth. A little honesty would have been nice. If he had at least explained his situation to me I could have been far more understanding, but that was not the case, and I still want my money back.

My story... I'm not going to disclaim what anyone else has said. I'm also not going say anymore than what I do here. I'm not bashing the man, just stating the facts. I have dealt w/ Brad on 3 occasions... 1) Years ago PaintballMaxx came out w/ a UniReg cover. It was an alluminum sleeve that went over your UniReg. It gave it a more ergonomic feel, and was a tourney lock. Given the weight of the UniRegs, the additional weight was not much. I dropped Brad an email and got a response quickly. My memory is a little fuzzy, but I think he sent it to me FOC to try out since it was a new product. I liked it, used it, and told others about it. I don't think it was a hit, but not everything is. 2) I had a MicroCocker that needed some serious help. It worked alright, but the grip had been mangled by a previous owner (trigger guard sloppily cut off) & the back-block was startig to wear badly. I sent it to Brad, along w/ the quoted money, after a few emails discussing what I wanted. I had other guns to shoot, so told him I was in no hurry. Well, "no hurry" turned into 2 years. I eventually got it, and the work was everything I expected. I love to shoot it, and I love the comments I get about it. 3) Shortly after I sent Brad the MicroCocker, as we were discussing some of the work he was doing to it, I mentioned I had a VM and a Sovereign that weren't behaving. I knew from his previous work that he had experience w/ both of these guns, so we agreed that I'd send them his way as well. Once again, I told him time was not an issue. Then, PaintballMaxx closed its doors. I sent Brad a few emails w/out response. When he finally did respond, he said my stuff and his tools were safe at his Dad's, which was some distance away, but he would be working on them as he could. OK, the guys livelyhood had just gone away, I can understand things being a bit rough. I hadn't sent him any money, because Brad had not come up w/ a total. He told me he was working on the 2 guns, and had one about done, and was working on the other. Then, emails began to be unreturned. I pushed on the forums when I saw him posting. I started to get conflicting responses about the status of the guns. I eventualy just told him not to worry, and send them back to me. He said on many occasions that 1) he was still working on them, 2) they were done and he was sending them to me, 3) they were not done and he was sending them to me, and 4) he had already sent them. It seemed to be almost random as to what answer he gave me. I eventually tracked him doen by phone. He told me the VM was done, but he was having trouble getting the needed o-rings for the Sov. I had been dealing w/ the Sovereign people already, and asked them what the hold-up was. They told me they had never heard from Brad, and should they send me the o-rings (FOC) or send them to Brad. I told them to send them his way, since he had the gun. A great deal of random and conflicting response from Brad later, I did get both of the guns back. Neither of them appeared to have been touched. The bag of o-rinigs for the Sov was included. Did I pay for any work? No. But, no work was done as far as I could tell. Was Brad going through a tough time? Probably, I couldn't say for sure. I certainly gave him the benifit of the doubt, and gave him every chance to do the right thing. Instead, I heard so many different, conflicting stories (I call them lies) that I didn't know what to believe. I believe Brad is out of paintball completely. I do know people who still have money, parts & guns tied up w/ him. They have not heard word one from him in better than a year. If you are in a similar boat, I'm sorry and good luck. Shives

| MCB Member | Just go the same route that others did with Punisher if he owes you stuff. Sorry to say it,but you've paid for a service and your property is missing or has not been returned. 2 yrs is a long time. Later, Blackrain

What route was that exactly? I looked into it and I don't think I had any grounds to bring the law into the picture. There was never a contract and I couldn't find the record on my paypal of paying him since it had been so long. I never sent him a gun because he was supposed to order the Phantom from CCI.... Hopefully I'll get something back now that he's responded.

Update: Brad has told me he is now paying people back and that the money will come when he haves it. Sounds good to me. I feel bad for him so I'll let it go as long as I get it eventually. If you have work with him just email him at his gmail account and he should get back to you.
