LAPCO barrel kit?

Hey guys, new poster here, ive been kicking around paintball and pump forums for a few years now though. Ive got one gun(VSC phantom) that ive had for like 3 years and i love the hell out of it.

Anyway, im looking to upgrade it a bit and i was looking at barrel kits. Any of you guys use the lapco barrel kits? Ive always heard good things about them but i wanted to hear it from some phantom shooters... do the threads fit the phantom breech properly? hows accuracy compared to the stock CCI barrel(couldnt imagine my phantom getting much more accurate) etc....

thanks in advance... this forum seems much more mature then PBN.

I had the Micro, Big and Autospirit awhile back for an Viking/Cocker. All worked extremely well and seemed to be very well made. I also have a Microshot for my phantom that works very, very well. I actually do not even use the stock barrel any more since it was too big for all the paint I used. The microshot is actually pretty quiet on my phantom compared to the stock barrel.
I doubt you'll be disapointed if you pick up a lapco kit.

Lapco has always made some of the best barrels out there, and at a very reasonable price. They're not exactly flashy - they don't have all the porting, inserts and other nonsense that a lot of players look for because they think those things make a barrel better. But, they're just well-made, affordable, and extremely accurate and consistent (with appropriately-sized paint, of course) barrels. You will not be disappointed.

Lapco one-piece barrels RULE!

Why? Well made, high quality, gundrilled barrels.

I have a new Phantom Lapco Accu-shot kit and no Phantom(always meant to pick on up somewhere.... but I've decided I'm not a Phantom guy)... I might be willing to sell/trade it. I really want another cocker threaded Accu-shot kit.

sounds exactly like what i want... I acually LOVE the way the lapco barrels look.

i understand that its all about paint to barrel bore match... and i totally agree from expereince... but i still feel like a barrel with a consistant bore diameter the WHOLE length of the barrel is better for accuracy than most barrel kits where the diameter only matches the ball for the first few inches... maybe its just in my head though.

thanks again guys, looks like ill be picking up an accushot kit soon.

You can ask more questions on the Lapco forum also if you need to. Lots more Lapco fanboys there. I mod there also.

Well i went to a local PB store today near where my parents live in WV, and suprisingly enough the guys knew what phantoms were, even had a few in the back... Ended up picking up a DYE aluminum, the old ones that arent made anymore and have the single bore the whole length of the barrel. Ive heard these barrels were really good and love the fact that they arent made anymore so i snagged it up, cant wait to throw some paint threw it, anybody have one of these?
