Yea weren't those rpm's only like 150 bucks new when they came out? They were a pretty good deal even then.

I believe those are one of the heaviest markers I've ever held, its about the weight of Matrix, actually somewhere up around that of a Rainmaker, definitely more than an Impulse. I held one...two or three years ago, I remember the shop that had it had a first gen FEP Quest that they were boasting as the next big thing. Overall decent, FASOR with a spring behind the bolt instead of the hammer, spyder trigger quality, basically whats been said, its just a second gen EM1.

I bought one of those oddessy rpm markers for a local kid that I got started playing and they are quite excellent for $50 bucks. If I didn't suck so bad with e-guns I would have one.

Bump.

Just kinda considering this marker. My Osiris crapped out on me, I'm tired of jacking with it, and I'm looking into a good electro-flinger. I like the price tag on this thing, the fact that it's unique and I've always had a soft-spot for Kingman products. Lawd, don't ask why.

Anyway, I haven't been able to find much info on this thing. PBreview is about useless, and there's little info here. Should I waste my money on a new Raven, or better spend it?

Oh, and is it confirmed that the ASA is standard threaded, and not that crappy metric proprietary crap Kingman uses?

Edit: AV also has remanufactured Spyder Imagines. My first electro-flinger. For only $60. Should I grab that and maybe a feedneck and some Scenario Dreams electronics instead? It's basically STBB vs. FASOR here...

there's been a raven sitting at my local proshop (DMZ Paintball in St Catharines Ontario. several of you such as LK-13 Eric Ratzo etc will know the place) for what seems like years. I think if memory serves me it's somewhere in the region of $499 or something ridiculous. I have talked to the guy that runs the place (original owner Jerry Munsie died sadly of cancer god rest his soul) matt keeps telling me they'd never drop the price which always makes me howl seeing as it's been there so long there's quite literally dust on it

I'm really thinking about doing it next paycheck. I need a good semi to use when I get bored of the PGP (doesn't happen a lot...) or do some "muppet-mowing" at big game final battles.

Why not the Spyder Electra? I have held one, feels nice. Frame is metal, finish is very good. Feedneck is decent. Trigger definately needs work. Feels heavy, very clicky. The only drawback is the $200 tag.

just do a search here and on google for odessey RPM and see what pops up. The cheap ones on ebay are the old style with metric threading.

I'm familiar with the RPM, but truth be told, I held yours at the Texas Division meet, and I really didn't like the feel. Something about the frame...

its the lack of a foregrip/regulator that makes it weird. Nothing wrong with the standard 45 frame it sports.
