What ever happened to...

Hey guys, Just and intro but I'm new here, Havn't played in quite some time due to work reasons, but last time I played was in 2003, I was part of an amateur pro team called Tragedy based out of south jersey. I shot a Highly Upgraded 2000 cocker(before all this e1 e2 bulls**t came out), and a 2003 Rat impulse. I loved both markers and the sport dearly. All that aside, what has happened to the value of cockers? They go for dirt cheap now and look horrible...to much extra junk. Also what ever happened to the nerve? I know SP is the devil because they steal ideas and get a patent on it...but whats goin on? I feel like paintball has a only a couple companiess who are still true to the sport...and most others are trying to make a quick buck or 500.

Thanks all

C

The Nerve was a massive failure IMO. The $1500 cockers from years ago now sell for like 100-200 unless they were some sort of rare custom job.

On the cocker values..It's just the sign of times....newer, lighter and easier markers to setup that cost the same or less then what the cockers where going for....Most of those who jumped in after 2003 want and get just point and shoot markers that anyone can maintain and no timing needed. You missed the massive dump of markers last year.

I believe that the value will go up and down as "what is cool" comes and goes.....
