What you get for it, he still has one, and doesn't know it's valuable.
(Maybe I'll trade some sausage for it....)

They're getting around the $300 range now-a-days. It's just a fantastic gun and worth every penny as a wall hanger. Well, to us collecting nuts anyhow.

IIRC, the very last of these were being sold on another well-respected forum as a box of mostly unfinished parts.

Could you ask if he still has any?

He states that only 150-200 were made.
Just one production run. The one in Carter's pic has, and I quote, "the crappier barrel on it". From that I gather that better barrels were made later in the run.

I'll continue with the brain picking.................................

He also designed the "teardrop" breech revision.

Dues, I think he's only got his personal left.

Yeah... I had some that were in the sub 50 serial number range. So off the first run.

So fewer than 200 huh? Crazy. Good to know.

Still amazes me that I can sip my coffee planning todays meetings and watch the forum and in "live" ask questions to the man who made the Phoenix.

Tell him Bryan says Hello... still got to send him that breech door that is goofy on mine.

I loved every one of my Phoenixes.. very cool guns. Minus some regulation issues, very usable on the field.
