That's not really a difficult mod to do yourself. Just cut a few angles off the tip of the threaded bit of the knob to allow gas to flow. That's it. But even then, pretty much anyone who uses a remote on a regular basis *knows* that you never screw it in all the way. You go in all the way and then back off a turn or so.
