P68-at pump

I Found a P68 online and the guy is selling it for about 60 plus shipping. It is pretty old and beat up. Is this a good deal. Also the same guy is selling a Winteck for 50 plus shipping. Is that a good deal? Also does any know where I can find information on these?
Thank you in advance.

I don't know anything about wintecks, but if the p68 shoots it is a good deal (if it doesn't it is an ok deal). Just because it looks old doesn't mean it can't be polished up nice.

How old are they? And If I bought it could I find parts if it were to break and who made it? Sorry about all the questions but I am very unfamiliar with older guns.
Thanks again

I'm not positive on exact years, but my guess is late 80s or very early 90s. It was made by Sheridan. Parts can be found at Palmers or RCPaintball. Here is an animation of how Sheridans work (though that one has a more complicated AT sear system that I have yet to have experience with).

Oh and there are probably more mcbers watching those sales if they are somewhere easily found so I would suggest making up your mind quickly.

If you are looking on ebay, I would wait for something better to come along. Get a PMI 1 DF or a Piranha. You will find one in good working order for around $100.

It has seem lately, that Sheridans are getting harder to come by, there were alot for sale on Ebay last year.

Prices are usually cheaper in the late Summer/Early Fall.

I own a P-68AT that has been Palmer'ed and home customized and really rocks. I've counted 40 use-able shots on a 12 gram with it, its quite and it shoots darts.

Palmer has a picture of an exploded sheridan on it, it is very helpful for disassembly and such. If you plan on getting the valve out you will need a sheridan valve tool from Palmers.

The AT system is fun and works well, but I removed it from mine as i stick to SC play most of the time.
