I'm not a tourney player I play recball but after seeing this board even if I wanted to play tourneys I'm not sure I'd buy a whole new gun. just saw a video of the Tadao Yakuza board for E1/E2 and Worrblade cockers. figure I'll post up the direct link to the specs on the Tadao website but from the looks of it this might just revive the E-cocker as a competitive tourney marker with all of it's nice adjustments faster firing modes (yes I know gun speed isn't everything but when getting an E2 flashed is $50 and you're not even PSP compatible when this new board for $179 is it makes getting flashed seem worthless) anyways here's a link to the specs just figured that for some people that have E-cockers for an airball marker might be a good way to avoid buying an entirely new marker for tournaments. Click here for specs Click here for Oklahoma D-day unlimited full auto video of the Yakuza board

And by the time you halfblock and all that, well why not just own another marker anyway. Part of the magic that is a cocker (IMO) is the backblock and click clack noise. I prefer my cockers mech.

I'll agree with you about the backblock and noise of a cocker being part of the magic. I will admit though you don't need to halfblock with all the lightweight back blocks out there it's not as necessary. Always good to hear different opinions though see what others thoughts are. For me personally I was thinking about getting the flash to gain PSP CFOA etc ( just for the local field's impromptu 2 man tourneys with PSP) but now with this board and it offering me even finer tuning adjustments the investment might just be worth it. I'll agree with you Harbringer[TG] that cocker resale is down to the point where E2 cockers with a good amount of upgrades and a nice body unless they are a true rarity are going for $160-200. but let's consider this what if someone had an old E-cocker in their closet just sitting around. for a few hundred bucks they'll have something just as fast as all the new space guns and probably even more reliable if properly maintained. I have a feeling this might bring back the cocker scene and heck might be worth buying the board if you can pick up an old worrblade/e1/e2 cocker for a song (basically free for me in my case so the $200 is well worth it)

I guess my stance is a little different cause I paid basically $0 out of pocket for my cocker (traded a 21 inch monitor for it a CRT no less) so throwing $200 at it to make it ungodly fast is worth it seems better than paying $50 to get it flashed with old code that's not even up to snuff now
