How to you store your barrels?

Been trying to go thru old gear, and I have a lot of barrels, and the way I am storing my guns requires me to take most of the barrels off, now I have even more all over the place. How do you guys store them?

I try to keep them on if I can. Less wear and tear on the threads.

I have a JT backpack that has sleeves for four barrels. Redz used to make a "Barrel Bag" that is nothing more than neoprene sleeves that roll up and I have one of those for when the backpack is not coming, then there is my AKA bag that has slots for three barrels. Or I could lide an extra in my original freak kit box... Or you could

I've got a Spike's barrel bag, holds 8. That does me for now. I store my guns the same, without barrels, and lug my bag around everywhere. Until I get a few select barrels turned down (in/out? ) for freaks, that's the way it's going to be .

I get large plastic flat tackle boxes with narrow compartments to store most barrels.

if they're real nice anno barrels, I buy a sheet of that thin foam they sell at craft stores, wal-mart craft department etc and cut it into sections to wedge between barrel parts, so they don't rub.

last weekend I saw a flat tool kit, suit case looking thing at AutoZone that would hold up to a one piece 16" barrel in it. about $5 I believe....

I slide the tackle box into my backpack, along with another one containing tools, lube, spare nonsense etc and it makes for a good solid base to my backpack and it's easy to transport around.

I use smartpart barrel wraps. they hold 6 barrels at a time. Think Ive got 4 of them. Plus my aka carry bag holds another 3. I still need to get another wrap. I found 6 more barrels while packing to move that I didnt know I had.

I use the Redz barrel bag i think. It holds 4 barrels, up to 14" longs. I have never had more than 4 barrels, so it has worked fine all these years.

I have several "Battle Boy" barrel bags. I keep most of my barrels that aren't on markers in them and put them all in a closet.

I have a Redz Barrel Bag that holds 6 or 8 that I won at a game for my most used barrels. For all the rest I just went out and bought a bunch of over long tube socks. Drop the barrel in the sock non threaded end first then spin the open end with all the excess a few times and tuck it back over the rest doubling back to protect the threads.

I just take a big towel and roll them into one big ball with enough cloth around each barrel so they don't bang into each other, put a rubber band around it to keep it tight and put it into a plastic tupperware box.
