True, shows premeditated intent and also would cast doubt on his testimony that he felt threatened. Should the matter ever come up, the prosecuter would love to trot out these "electronic communications" in front of a jury.

Not to defend the murderous intent of anyone here in any way, but it is truly shocking how often hunters with no right to be where they are sitting, will defend their presence with violence.

What is truly scary is being on your own 100 acres and some jackass takes a shot at a deer and you can hear the bullet. My parents had a 100 acres of forest in "gods country". Nothing around for miles except for small cottages miles away. My father and I were clearing some brush and had camped on their property so we could get up early the next day and get a good jump on that days work. I was up at dawn and was outside our tent making coffee when a shot went by me on my right. I hit the dirt and yelled out. The guy who shot actually walked right up to me as my father exited the tent. Before I could ask what the hell he was thinking this jack*** asks me what I was doing there. Anyways at the end of it we found out this guy hunted on my parents property for years illegally before my parents bought the land and figured he was still entitled to do it. Side note, my father was charged with assault because when the police arrived the "hunter" was black and blue and claims that my dad hit him.

Azzy... even easier.... call the tax accessors office. If you have an address or adjacent properties address they can help you. Also.. you may be able to get the Tax Map online for your county and look it up that way... they you just call the town with the parcel number and they can give you the name.

Mar - I know here in PA, the law says you can use deadly force if someone is perpetrating a felony on your or your property. I dont think trespass is a felony, but no matter what, you have to explain it most likely to a bunch of folks that are upset that they are missing Maurey or Judge Joe Brown.

ROFL TF! Funny Trespass story!

Some guy stole my skateboard, so I let myself into his second story window to get it back...there were three guys lived there, all about 19 or 20 (as was I at the time) Sure enough, I get in there, get my board, and on my way out realise I have to poo, now, no turning back...

So I settle onto the toilet and take care of business....ummm..... No toilet paper.... Great, now I have to have a freaking shower....ummm....no hydro, power had been cut....cold shower..... Great, now I need a towel....ummmmm.....can't find an f'ing towel either....

ANywayz....I got my board back, but next time I did a b&e I told myself I would bring TP!
