[QUOTE=the stuntman;859146]The Lost Boys (3 of them anyway)...1988 to 1994
6 time winners of Nor Cals "Diablo Cup"

Actually they won 5 Diablo cups 1987- 1993, which was the last time we saw them. Sadly, a couple of them play with the infamous Carpet Bob and also with a Bay Area Sheriff team, who's Captain pulled out his sheriff badge at our field and threatened a customer for allegedly over shooting him

I've been digitizing and archiving my old videos and posting them on YouTube under "Venture Games". I found our first game (April 1986) between my team, the original Ironmen (before Bob Long) and Chuck Harder's Santa Cruz Killer Bee's and will post it soon. This is of the lost boys:

Yeah, he's still around. He last OD'd on his field back in 2007 but he keeps on ticking.. Still the same and has perfected the art of cheating...I mean bounces to a science

The following pictures were taken in the summer of 1991 at Diablo Venture Games. The team name is Out of Control, from Pacific Paintball Supply in Santa Rosa ca. This is the early genesis of KAPP factory tournament team. Out of Control were regulars at Venture Games, three of my best players and referee staff went on to play for KAPP, Dave Baines, Glen Takamoto, and Johnny Perchak, later to move on to Dynasty.

That's me in the center, Mark Kielpinkski on the left and Bill something or other on the right.

DSA - these are the guys Glenn played with before he moved out west and hooked up with you guys.

Jim I think that's from about 93-1994ish, Mark's hair, is, um, smaller then late 80s earlier 90s, about the time you and your bro started on the backback air supply project for tools I believe.

The following pictures were taken in the Spring of 1990 at Diablo Venture Games. The team name is The Black Diamonds, from R&R paintball world in Santa Cruz ca. Chuck Hendsch was the owner and team Captain. We all know Chuck has become one of the best known paintball figures in the industry today. He worked for RP Scherer, owned the now defunct NPPL, JT paintball and recently with Kingman paintball.

The following picture was taken in the Summer of 1988 at Diablo Venture Games; the team name is The Predators. The Predators were made up from the ashes of the original Bay Area Ironmen (in which I was a member of) after Bob Long got his hand on the team. Of the original 9 Ironmen, 3 are seen here. Captain Rick Baird (with the goatee) in the center, his Wife Dianne to his left and his son Mike Baird (kneeling in front of banner with with #1 finger).

One day I'll write the true story of the Ironmen (pre Bob Long).

In post 95, you'll also see Bill Wing, who went on to the Ironmen...I'm in there too.

I played that Diablo Cup with Chris. Hard fought game against Team Taurus, IIRC. Hot. Heat-exhaustion hot. It wasn't really the Outta Control guys, btw. It was a pick-up team with the ref's from Paintball Hill (my apologies, but I've forgotten your names, but I do remember the guy with the wishnick/troll on his load-bearing gear), Tom Reese, Fofe, Benny, Joe Burke, Caspar Wagner, Darryl, and generally customers from Pacific Paintball.

Anybody remember the "Brady Bunch" calls we came up with? Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!

Woah.
I'm humbled to be on the forums with people on teams such as these.
