I played that Diablo Cup with Chris. Hard fought game against Team Taurus, IIRC. Hot. Heat-exhaustion hot. It wasn't really the Outta Control guys, btw. It was a pick-up team with the ref's from Paintball Hill (my apologies, but I've forgotten your names, but I do remember the guy with the wishnick/troll on his load-bearing gear), Tom Reese, Fofe, Benny, Joe Burke, Caspar Wagner, Darryl, and generally customers from Pacific Paintball.

Anybody remember the "Brady Bunch" calls we came up with? Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!
Hey thanks for the names, how cool, which one are you? I do remember the calls, very funny. As to the team name, that's the name Chris gave me, I have written on this picture and again on my after action reports of this event.

So what happened to Chris and the rest of the gang? I only saw Chris and a couple others a few times after that. I know Chris suddenly closed up shop after my guys (mentioned in post 95) who played with KAPP had a fall out with Chris and left KAPP

Yeah, you don't know the half of it. There's is a lot of history and players that came out of my Diablo field.

My dad is the one with the coffee. You get a gold star if you know who the guy on the left is

Actually they won 5 Diablo cups 1987- 1993, which was the last time we saw them. Sadly, a couple of them play with the infamous Carpet Bob and also with a Bay Area Sheriff team, who's Captain pulled out his sheriff badge at our field and threatened a customer for allegedly over shooting him

I've been digitizing and archiving my old videos and posting them on YouTube under "Venture Games". I found our first game (April 1986) between my team, the original Ironmen (before Bob Long) and Chuck Harder's Santa Cruz Killer Bee's and will post it soon. This is of the lost boys:

- I am in total awe of your archive! The old Lost Boy stuff almost brings a tear to the eye...we need to get the old crew back together once your new field is up & running. (dont worry, I'll leave the sheriff's at home for this one......you should remember me well enough to know that I dont do the whole "pb drama/field politics" thing...)

Well thanks Arron, It took me a while to make The Lost Boys video. It was hard to decide what video and pictures to use to convey the right sentiment in telling the Lost Boys Story at Diablo.

Yes, please do. I have some great video of him just caring on. Funny thing about that Badge incident, I almost got my *** kicked in by the father of the son your team Captain was yelling at. If he gotten a hold of him, I don't think he would have been around today to be your Captain, that's how big he was.
