Oldschool gear sighting

We were at IKEA in Burlington, Ontario this morning. On the way home, my wife spotted a paintball store called Soldier of Fortune Paintball ( maybe 6-8 blocks from IKEA on the same road). Needless to say I made a quick turnaround to check it out.

I walk inside and there is a nice display of oldschool toys on the wall. Including a LB Nightmare, a WGP Ranger, A Montneel Z of some type ( it looked absolutely mint), a nice old Automag (68 Automag labeled valve, not a classic), a couple of BE Stingrays, a BE Poison, a Tipmann C3, some type of top clip fed sidearm pistol, and a couple of others.

So I turned to the young ( and quite attractive ) lady behind the desk and ask if the has any Automag parts available. Usually I get a loud guffaw from somewhere in the store, but this time I got a very surprising answer : " No, any parts I find, I keep for my mag".

So I start asking about the markers on the wall, " I rebuilt all of those, they all work."

I'm not absolutely sure of this, but it would seem that she might be the owner ( or possibly the manager ) of a paintball store, since she stores her markers on the wall. She plays with oldschool equipment. Maintains and restores oldschool gear, and is well.... hot.

I hope she is a member here, because if not she darn well should be. She seems like a shoe in for this place. If anyone knows the store I mean, ask her to stick a hand up and introduce herself.

On a side note, do nightmares normally only take 3/16" to cock the hammer? The one on the wall there would slide the bolt back for the first 3/4" and then engage the cocking knob to only cock it for that tiny little amount. From the outside the darn thing looked like it was cocked to begin with. After finally pushing it a little harder it would cock, and on pullling the trigger there was just a little click. No visible movement of what I thought was the hammer.

I have never held a nightmare before, but I had always thought they were basically a nelson valve arrangement. Am I missing something here?

Ahh, yes... Courtney... IIRC she's one of the two brothers (who own the store and field) girlfriend or wife or something. SOF is a good little store. I don't go often, but I like digging through some of their bargain bins.
