Mystery stock?

Hey all, I got this MR1 on ebay cheap because it was listed as "used and non-working" Well I got it running in about 10 minutes () but it came with a stock that I have no idea what it is. (or even how to use it. Here's some pics:

Second pic the stock is extended, it has about 3 different lengths. It was painted tan by the owner, orignal color is black. I'm sure it'll be easy to identify, just I'm not into the mil-sim scene so much, and stocks don't help me any so... I never use them.

Oh, and it's an air-thru stock, maybe I'll get some pics later if y'all cant identify it. It goes in the back and has fittings to put in air line in the side, and out the back (for remotes I'd assume). I'm wondering if it can be used as a regular stock and not for air-thru? It goes in where you change the vlocity, so I cant figure out how I'd change it with it on...

Any help is appreciated.

Custom job. Probably based on a Gunhead unit or something like that, you can remove the fittings and such inside the stock, most of the pb M4/CAR stocks I know of have a hollow tube that fits a 1" diameter piece, usually machined to fit whatever marker its designed for... pretty sure you can get a regular RVA for cheap at pro shops or something... fairly common thing to put onto the MR without much work, typically all it needs is the plug and holes drilled into the tube for the retaining screws, some people have made palmer stab-equipped air-thru stocks that are pretty well-hidden.

Looks like a typical CAR-15 adjustable stock, with adapter.

They are somewhat common, as real CAR-15 parts are dirt cheap. You could probobly get the stock for a couple bucks. Then the adapter is fabricated to match to specific guns.

It sounds like you're saying they run the line through the gun and into the stock? this stock has fittings on the side and then running out the back, so no inner lines are needed in the gun, just get an 90* adapter where the foregrip goes (one was included) and run a line to the side.

Really sorry about quality, had to take pictures with my mp4 player.

So what really confuses me, is, when its on, how do you change velocity?

You have to remove the stock to adjust velocity most of the time. Other method would be if its modified, with a stab or a reg somewhere, finetune it to the pressure, and making it consistent.
