I like three vertical pods in the small of my back.

Anything wider catches to many hits.

And gets heavy.

I have a CIA vest from COPS 911. My pods ride 6 horizontal, right at my belt line. Plus I have t front pouches, a mag pouch for the pistol and grenade pouches for the scepter, map pouch, and 12 gram pouch.
I'm usually very tired quick.

I'm not a fan of pod packs worn on the lower back. Partly due to an old back injury that sometimes tweaks when I strap stuff around it. Also, I spent years in the service instinctively reaching for my ammo pouches that were at my front and sides. So, I decided to go with a RAP4 vest, with the tube pouches worn up front, and sometimes I'll carry my CO2 on the upper back if I go with a remote. My next purchase will be a 2 or 3 pod drop-leg set up.

Luke, Check blackhawk products for thier molle stuff, I have seen some awsome stuff from them used in paintball up this way. A team we played this weekend a guy had a q loader setup on his ion and his qpods filled 3 pods on his left leg and 2 pods and a tank on the other.

Most everything I use right nows ends up riding around my waist, except for the Ronin tube harness. I typically use a belt with a few pod pouches, but I also have a 6+1 harness with horizontal tube placement.

My Ronin Elite is worn right around the waist... It hangs down a bit onto my butt, but it isnt a problem for me... I dont sit very much on the feild.

I play with my 3 pod reds harness really high up there. I feel like it couldnt possibly be right, but it lets my bend as well as I could before, and it lets my legs move freely. If I let it hang over my butt I cant really move. I also consider it basically where id wear a lifting belt.

I wear mine just a little above my hips. I susally start out higher, but that's just where they like to slide to and rest.
