Gun Compatibility Issues?
Well.. I played today. Finally! :gunsfiring:

I brought my Eblade cocker and my sniper. (I wasnt sure who I would be seing or playing with)
My sniper wouldnt run.. I completely forgot that my angled ASA wouldnt work with my 3.5 ounce, so I ran my eblade.
It tanked up fine... everything was great. I put on my 18" Boomstick since we were playing in the woods.

I played a few games and realized I miss having a mechanical cocker. I felt I have better accuracy and more movement with it. I trust it more. My Eblade also did not keep up with my finger for some reason and it is tuned and should run just fine. I also do not like the 18" on it. I love it on my pump.. but a 12 or 16 is better on it.

All in all.. I had a good day... just wish I had felt comfortable with my own marker.

Anyone else felt this way?

I trust my markers more, also more agresive when I use my own. As for the feel. I like how my 1 of my 98's shot over the rest.

I havent been comfortable with any gun I've had since I sold my old sniper and phantom. Unfamiliarity with a gun sucks.

As a player who rarely sells off any of his guns I tend to develope rather strong attachments to them. So they get tuned, tweeked, moded, upgraded, tuned some more, a little tweek here, a few more mods there, and so on until it gets to the point that I'm the ONLY person who can effectivly use the darn thing. To everyone else it just doesn't feel right, or something is off, but to me it's perfect.

put your hand on your marker and say after me

"This is MY marker; There are many like it, but this one is mine" **

(** To Palmer's, Punisher's or DocN, or other tinkerers, you may substitute with "This is my rifle, This is my gun, this one's for fightin, this one's for fun" ;))

I played for the first time in a while on Friday. I brought my SP-8 and my Automag. I have never used my SP-8, and was having "issues" with it. I just could get a bead on my target, plus it started raining. So i put the SP-8 away and pulled out my mag. My mag has not been used in atleast 5 years, so I gassed it up and had a little leak. After a few minutes it stopped. She shot great the entire day, and I didnt skip a beat with it. For the first time in a long time I felt that connection with my gun as if it were a part of me.
Now I am getting the itch to build another mag.

I was just angry as heck about the whole thing. I thought the gun would be perfect for any type of play... but I was wrong.. like always. Guess I need to get my pump up and running and see whats next!

I bought a old Mag once, and I just couldnt get the hang of it... or having to carry paint again. I just ended up tossing it back in my bag, and bringing out my Phantom.
