Buck up: it'll be well cared for, never sold off, and like I said, you can buy it back during sunnier times for what I paid Though if you choose not to, I won't complain

Confirmed. It was an excellent transaction with John. I enjoyed the push button safety, but I couldn't part with #79 or my primary Vector Cannon.

I own no push button safety Vectors. Custer, do you recall if 886's reciever had the edges of the "Vector Air Power" line cover worn shiny? I can't be sure if 886's power unit was attached to that reciever when I got them.

Well, heck. Who did I sell that push button safety Vector to, then?

I don't believe the line cover was worn on 886. Looking back on our PM's, I don't see much in details. Perhaps you moved a power unit to another receiver?

I must have, as I'm pretty sure now, having thought about it, that the receiver I'm thinking of was an ebay Vector. It and power unit 886 were both loose in my cabinet, so I thought they might have gone together. However, given that this receiver had a totally stripped out receiver thread on one of the 4 high pressure block attachments, I doubt I could have gotten it from an MCBer.

At any rate, 886 is now happily installed on that messed up receiver--some JB weld neatly plugged the stripped threads, and 3 screws are enough to hold the block on without leaks. Which is good--it would break my heart to have to junk a Vector receiver.

Actually 2 would do to hold on the block (make sure they are diagonal from each other though.) Just like the line cover has 4. These holes do go all the way into the bore so there is a chance that if you leave a screw out, you will get a slight leak.

Even with fresh AB o-rings, it was more than "slight" when the lower forward hole's threads were stripped out. I've nicknamed that unfortunate Vector's receiver the "3-legged dog." It looks a little strange, but I'm happy it works again.

Cool John. Got your latest acquisitions on the list.

I'm thinking that you might have a problem... Maybe we need to have an intervention.... haha

Is your goal to own every original vector?
