I've seen Ions work at -15C and hold up like champs.

Edit: Stick with mechanical stuff, simpler guns means less to break.

Tippmanns get my vote, I cant get my 98 to not work, it just runs too damn well I played in sub-zero weather with it and it still worked great and didn't chop paint either. I'll have to try my VM on siphon this winter and see how well that does

Last winter we used my F4, and my Phantom at 5* F and waiste deep snow to get to the field. both guns shot great but did need velocity adjusted quite a bit to get them to the right speed in the begining

Always had good luck with my phantom. Of course I run it on HPA.

Way back I used my Cobra with C02 and never really had any issues in the cold with it.

winter is a relative term on a fourm

you need to factor on your location

SSPs winter is different from my winter which is different from someone on the west coast and so on.

but for where i am in MD i just do not run CO2

my tippmanns, mags and pumps all work well

so for me it is hard to say which truely is the best

The AM Illusion... No bull.
Left one sitting out in the snow with an outside temp of about 20* for about 40 min., I had used it recently indoors prior to that day, and so a re chrono was not necessary.
I had used them in the dead of winter many times before, so needless to say I wasn't surprised to see that the velocity had only dropped to 225fps, from what I expected to be 265fps.

Illusions are the best Sheridan based markers that work without liquid hands down. Why?
I wish I could tell you.
I understand the valve is a Merlin size, which I believe is close or similar to the Spyder clones. Though the latter didn't fit right when I checked to see if they matched. No Merlin valves in my possession, but the images shows what a Spyder AKA lp valve looks like.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
