Why do you want a drop forward anyways?

I find them uncomfortable (My arms a bit long though, 5'10"). I suggest going with a normal rail and on/off.

A number of companies made mini and micro drops (marketing terms only, no set definition for either term). The Dye short drop is a pretty good length, so are the Shocktech stubby and short...

The CP micro razor is one of my favorites, but it does only work with rail mounted on/offs. It is about as long a drop as you can get while still allowing you to keep your wrist tucked in along the side of a standard length HPA tank regulator. It would be about the same length as a WGP Torpedo, but a bit shorter in height.

You can also replace the on/off on the Torpedo with a standard duckbill bottom line, which would shorten the effective length by about an inch.

I'm 6'2" - drops feel great to me.

The best thing I've used was a KAPP Drop Zone - remember those? You can offset the tank to either side, too, as well as drop it. Tightest setup I've used was a Drop Zone cut down, with the tank offset to the side. Very comfortable, and it doesn't kink your wrist off to the side.

Pretty cheap, too. They're a little hard to find these days, as are most drops. As noted, most people seem to be using rails and on-offs.

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them.”
