couple of things. You need to be careful with applying too much math to such a small sample, it tends to get too easy to find patterns when there aren't actually any.

What condition was your .68 paint?
I was thinking something similar, removing 33% of your results is fairly significant. Any chance you can use a larger sample size for any future testing (say at least ten shots each)? Have you considered doing a soft body test (i.e. shooting at some kind of padding, to simulate an actual player being hit)?

Great work so far though, I really enjoyed your video. Had a very mythbusters feel to it (all it was missing was the hot girl that likes to blow stuff up ).

20 is a beautiful number for statistical analysis.

You've obviously got the location - now you just need a grid and you're good to go on an accuracy test.

So basically what we have here is proof that .50 cal shoots as well as .68! With the smaller size it can be cheaper to manufacture and sell and the kiddies can carry more paint if they want. See all you doubters! Richmond was right!

Oh wait... that's only the same out to 10-15 yards......Damn... never mind.

In fairness how many of those kiddies can hit what they are aiming at past 15 yards? Its just spray and pray anyways past those distances, and this gives them more spray.

true, but I know three or four handy chunks of math that apply really well in this particular application.
