I mean.. here's looking back to our distance chart with REAL WORLD results, shooting slightly over 300 FPS

50_cal_realworld.jpg

Meaing, we could get their results following the curved line with the gun a little over 4 feet in the air and hit the magical 145 feet, but we are still shooting over 300 FPS. If we shot 274 as they stated, there's no way we could get there unless we change the FPS even higher than 300, or raise how high we're shooting the gun.

we've shot a ton of accuracy tests - here's what we've found with good .68 paint:

at 50 feet - 2/3 of balls inside an 8" circle, 95% inside a 16" circle.
at 75 feet - 2/3 inside a 12" circle, 95% inside a 24" circle.
at 100 feet - 2/3 inside a 16" circle, 95% inside a 32" circle.
at 125 feet - 2/3 of balls inside a 24" circle, 95% inside a 48" circle.

Right.. I can see if they counted every single shot.

We hit what... 16 1/2 inch area at 75 feet with our old (only tank reg'd) shocker. And that's counting every shot. Of that, only 3 were outside a 12 1/2 inch circle.

But the .50 hit almost a 21 inch circle if you counted everything... Not a 13 inch circle. Not even close to that tight over the 30 we shot... And video taped.

Interesting results...

that's fine. Personally I'm not out to tell people what to buy or how to choose gear. I just post what we find and help people understand that. What they do with our information is their business.

The beauty of telling people exactly how we do testing is that anyone can try it themselves. We encourage anyone who doesn't trust us to do the same test.

We'll shoot the .50 and we'll post the results - good, bad or indifferent.
