I do believe these are a few years old. They came out right when WGP started hugging the crapper.

Apart from this and the old Ranger, did WGP market any other blowbacks?
If I remember correctly there was also the "Boss Raider."

There's one more STBB that WGP did, and it's newer than the Worr Machines.
It's the Synergy

Wasnt this one originally marketed with a pneumatic trigger? Seems to me I saw renders of it but never saw a finished product - shortly after K2 bought the pneumatic trigger patents I believe

They were bought by K2, who also owned BE, Viewloader, and JT.

I suspect you are trying to imply that BE is a bad company? yet probobly use a VL hopper and JT mask?

Regardless, I DO NOT think it is sad. Bud Orr figured out that the market for cockers was gone. It started to collapse when the WDP Angel came out, but by 2001-2, it simply could not compete.

People will argue, but cockers were overpriced, and overcomplex. All things being equal, you could get far better guns for a fraction of the price. All that kept WGP going was the closed-bolt and low-pressure myths, and by 2001, nobody believed them anymore.

So it was very smart for him to sell. By the time K2 took over, the market for cockers was completely gone. They ended up liquidating everything, and no longer produce autococking guns. Eventually, the entire company was liquidated as well, and only exists as a name to slap on chinese imports.

Not sad. Bud Orr was pretty smart to see where the market was moving
