Off The Break: Advent

The Advent is a marker that was showcased at the 2003 IAO (to a select few I believe) made by the company who did the 90* frames for Impulses/Bushmasters etc. Ive been looking for info and prototype pics for years, to no avail. It was never released, but it was something I remember being very interested in when I was around 14. I figured if anyone had them, someone on here has em.

My favorite post in that thread is by BAURblades

"dont get a mag, resale sucks.... get a used angel, shocker, or trix."

Was that true in 2004? Cause it's pretty much 100% the opposite now. Mags have great resale, because they don't change, ever, while angels, shockers and trixs (dm's) dive in value.

Didn't OTB go out of business years ago?

Yep OTP is DOA...

They never made enough income to put into develope the gun, all they ever made was vertical frames for impulses and bushys, and some odd ball antichop bolts with rubber tips. IIRC it was a garage operation

OTB is definitely out of business, but the frames were quite popular and very well made. I had one on my Impulse way back when. Its just something thats been rattling around in my noggin for awhile as I used to talk with the owners from time to time and hadnt seen a picture in quite awhile. Just wanted a refresher and my googlefoo isnt working.
